Since oldest times information has been recognized as a valuable commodity.
Technology to store and share information has developed from Babylonian
cuneiform tablets to present day digital media. However as the technologies
have evolved so have the threats and each of these technologies has
vulnerabilities. This talk will provide an overview of what information
security means and how securing information has evolved to meet the
challenges of todays interconnected and always on world.
